What our Customers Have To Say:

Jeff was outstanding! My washer stopped working on Monday evening and I searched Angie's List for a repair company. Since it was after hours, I left a voice mail message regarding the problem and requested a call back. Jeff called me back a little before 8am the following morning. After we talked he arrived about an hour later, as promised during our call. He was very pleasant and I was comfortable sitting and watching every step while he did the test and repairs. He had the needed part (lid switch) on his truck. He had quoted me a price range and the final cost was in the middle of the price range he had quoted. He didn't charge for replacing the washer and fixing the faucet leak. He cleaned up the workspace after he finished and left it as he found it. His guarantee was for one year and I will use this company again if we have further problems with our Kenmore 90 Series washer.

    DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Jeff did an electronic test first to determine if the problem was the lid switch as I had suggested as probable cause for the washer to not drain, spin or rinse after a cycle. He then replaced the lid switch on my old Kenmore 90 Series washer. He also replaced the washer in the basement hot water faucet, since it was leaking and causing standing water on the floor next to the washer.

  • Bob called back, asked a couple questions, quickly determined what part he'd need, told me the cost, apologized for not being able to come out that day (the week before Thanksgiving, it seems everyone needs to repair something), and said he'd call in the morning with the schedule. He called the next day, then called earlier than expected to say he was on the way. After fixing my smashed-up dryer vent (which he was not there to do, but it was nice that he did that), he proceeded to take the washer apart. When I saw that, I thought, good thing I didn't try to do this myself - I would have completely messed everything up. Bob wrestled with the hoses (something I would definitely NOT have been able to do), popped out the old part, popped in the new one, and voila! My washer works again. Bob is quick, professional, and above all, the best appliance repair guy ever.

    DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Cold water stopped going into my washer. This is a problem; washers being what they are now, even a hot wash uses some cold water. I had looked online, found instructions for what looked like an easy repair. I took one look at the back of the machine and thought, I better call Bob.
